History
The Lebanese Women’s Council (formerly The Lebanese Arab Women’s Union), is a non-governmental organization founded on 6 November 1952 under License No. 3752/AD, as a result of the merger of two bodies “The Lebanese Arab Women’s Union”, founded in 1920, and “The Solidarity of Lebanese Women”, founded in 1947.
